Children thrive in intact religious households, study finds

This shouldn’t surprise anyone, but a national study has been published confirming that children raised in intact married families (living with both biological parents) and who worship weekly are “are far less likely than their peers to experience educational or behavioral problems”.

So, how did Wisconsin families fair in the survey? According to Mapping America’s survey, Wisconsin ranked 25 out of 50 states (75%) who’s childern (ages 6-17) attend religious services on a weekly bases. Of those 75%, 62.8% come from “intacted” families.
